VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity

 

The People Partner will be the go-to advisor for an assigned client group within our business and you will be collaborating closely with Executive Leaders on all people-related matters. You’ll build trusted, influential relationships, providing expert guidance that supports informed decision-making and drives people initiatives. In this role, you’ll proactively identify and address challenges, ensuring timely intervention and resolution. You’ll stay up-to-date with employment legislation and its impact on People & Capability operations, helping the organisation navigate change effectively while supporting a positive, productive workplace.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Provide coaching and strategic guidance to leaders on workplace relations, injury management, workforce planning, pay, performance, and organisational development.
  • Leverage data and analytics to support evidence-based business cases and guide executive decisions, advancing the People & Capability roadmap.
  • Collaborate with teams, directors, and managers to address P&C concerns early, assess workplace issues, and guide consistent, lawful actions in line with agreements and policies.

 

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a business/people partnering role, collaborating with Executive Leaders to drive positive people outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying legislation, industrial instruments, and internal policies to guide senior leaders’ strategic decision-making.
  • Previous success in coaching junior P&C practitioners, developing their technical and behavioural skills to support career growth and progression.
  • Bachelor (or higher) qualification in human resources or related discipline or substantial relevant experience mandatory.
