About VIDA ROADS
VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.
Come and be a part of our centre of roads excellence.
Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of project programs to ensure completion targets and schedules are realistic and performance can be readily monitored, managed and reported for all phases of the Project lifecycle.
- Advising local stakeholders and planning and scheduling management on schedule and performance issues arising and recommend improvements and mitigation actions to ensure project programs are robust and able to be delivered within the required time frames.
- Supporting senior management with the monitoring of project schedules and with the reporting of earned value and commodity histograms.
- Undertaking detailed reviews of programs including cost/schedule performance analysis, allocating costs onto the schedule consistent with the mapping between cost and work breakdown structures.
- Where individual project performance activities vary significantly from agreed targets, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies and action plans to return the project activities to the required performance standards.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Planner and Scheduler develops and maintains project schedules for their package/program, monitoring the progression of works/activities, identifying underlying risks to the project schedule.
