About the role

Land Registry Services (LRS) delivers secure registration services for property, plan and water share transactions in line with relevant legislation, with services administered through Secure Electronic Registries Victoria (SERV). The Principal Specialist provides strategic leadership and expert advice to support the transition to digitised and automated registry services, overseeing operational integration, change management, stakeholder engagement and audit functions to ensure compliance, service quality and continuous improvement in systems, processes and service delivery.

Qualifications and experience

Comprehensive knowledge of LRS legislation, policies, practices and the government reform agenda is desirable, with appointment as Assistant Registrar of Titles being mandatory.

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions

All new appointments to the department will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check, Misconduct Screening, and a Qualification Check where there is a requirement for a mandatory qualification.
