About the role

Job Location:1 Spring Street, Melbourne

The Procurement Administrative Specialist provides administrative support to contract and procurement activities, including supplier contracts, prequalification registers, and compliance with procurement frameworks. The role liaises with stakeholders, uses systems such as Zycus, Oracle, and DocuSign, and applies analytical skills to ensure timely, accurate, and effective procurement administration and reporting.

The role provides procurement advice to ensure compliance with departmental policies and contributes to developing procurement systems, policies, and procedures. It manages system updates and guidance materials, coordinates ministerial and cabinet briefings, and maintains stakeholder relationships across government and industry, ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential handling of procurement-related activities and enquiries.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Zycus, Oracle Cloud or related systems and/or tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field. (Desirable)
