About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 December 2026
Job Location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne
The Program Transition Lead ensures complex ICT program outcomes are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations. The role leads business analysis, transition planning, testing, operational readiness and stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, fully supported and aligned with business needs. Working across teams, vendors and stakeholders, the position manages risks, coordinates service onboarding, and establishes sustainable support, training and governance arrangements for long-term success.

- Uses advanced critical thinking to develop sustainable solutions, working across agencies and senior stakeholders beyond immediate areas of responsibility.
- Promotes a collaborative culture by removing barriers to information sharing and encouraging cross-team cooperation to deliver results.
- Communicates with impact by tailoring messaging to different audiences, providing clear advice to support decision-making and influence outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline. (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in ICT program transition (mandatory)
- Experience working within formal project or program methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent). (mandatory)
- Experience within Victorian Public Sector governance environments. (desirable)
