About the role 

*This is a Fixed Term Position until April 2027

This role supports the V/Line Modernisation Project until April 2027. The person will manage key project deliverables, monitor progress and risks, and help meet critical mid-2026 milestones and a FY27/28 business case. They will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders, turning complex information into clear reports, briefings and presentations for senior leaders and Government. Success means delivering agreed outputs on time, supporting better decisions about regional rail, and helping create a more efficient and effective rail network.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Project Management qualifications and/or 5+ years proven experience in project delivery (mandatory)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory) 
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Project and/or other similar project management software (mandatory)
  • Accustomed to the Agile Methodology framework (desirable)
