VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

The Opportunity

We are recruiting multiple Program Manager positions across VIDA Health's Capital Grants team.

These opportunities sit within VIDA Health's Capital Grants team and support the delivery of critical health infrastructure investments across Victoria. Working closely with health services and stakeholders, you'll help oversee funding, project delivery, risk management and program outcomes.

Current opportunities include:

• RHIF Program Manager – Rural Health Infrastructure Fund
• Mental Health Program Manager – Mental Health Capital Programs
• EIRP/MERP/PET/MHIF Program Manager – Specialised Infrastructure & Equipment Programs

As a Program Manager, you’ll work closely with health services throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing advice, oversight and support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and aligned to approved scope and funding requirements.

You’ll review and challenge cost plans, grant submissions, technical documentation, change requests and claims, while identifying risks, opportunities and emerging issues that may impact project delivery. You will also provide authoritative advice and reporting to senior stakeholders, contribute to governance forums and collaborate across planning, design, procurement, legal and communications functions.

This is an opportunity to influence the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of health infrastructure projects, ranging from facility upgrades and equipment programs through to major government investment initiatives that directly support communities across Victoria.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Managing health infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
• Reviewing grant applications, cost plans, claims and project changes.
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Monitoring project performance and reporting on outcomes.
• Building strong partnerships with health services and stakeholders.
• Collaborating across planning, design, procurement, legal and communications teams.
• Providing strategic advice to support project and program delivery.

We are looking for:

• Experience managing complex projects, programs or infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyse information and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and manage project risks.
• Experience in health infrastructure, healthcare, engineering, construction, grants or government project delivery will be highly regarded.
