About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 04 June 2027
The Project Officer supports the delivery of the evaluation of Victoria’s Motorcycle Graduated Licensing System, ensuring project objectives, milestones and requirements are met. The role monitors schedules and budgets, maintains project reports and records, coordinates activities and provides day-to-day operational support under the direction of the Project Manager.
The role manages processes, systems and workflows, supports financial and procurement activities, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. It builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acts as the key operational contact for the evaluation supplier, and ensures accurate records, effective communication and safe, inclusive team operations.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of complex projects, programs or evaluations (mandatory).
- Experience using Microsoft Office, procurement and financial management systems, and records management systems; with an understanding of, or willingness to learn, Victoria’s Motorcycle Graduated Licensing System and program evaluation.
- Public sector experience and a current driver’s licence.
