About the role
This role is fixed term fulltime until 27 November 2026
The Project Officer role sits within the Road Safety Strategy and Systems directorate in Road Safety Victoria, and forms part of a small team responsible for administering the Motorcycle Safety Levy (MSL) Program.
The Project Officer will apply sound project management practices to support the effective planning, development and delivery of Motorcycle Safety Levy-funded road safety projects and programs. The role requires an individual who will utilise their exceptional project and stakeholder management skills to ensure that the program effectively planned and managed in line with key organisational and governance frameworks.

Success in this role relies on the ability to:
- Executes work tasks against plan; where plans are not defined, prioritises tasks in line with the urgency and impact of tasks.
- Responds to stakeholder requirements and ensures they are kept informed of issues and developments
- Recognise the formal structure or hierarchy of an organisational and its policies & procedures.
- Seeks resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines.
- Adapts systems & processes quickly to changed priorities & situations.

Qualification and Experience
Desirable
· Project Management Experience
· Background in Engineering, Design or Planning.
