The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity  

 

This position will be a fundamental support for the Project Services unit in the Project Controls team to develop and implement strategies for delivering a major health infrastructure programs across Victoria. This role supports the design and implementation of continuous improvement processes by identifying recurring issues, contributing to executive and government reporting, and preparing written materials.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Review and improve VHBA processes and policies, and support others with implementation issues.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on quality assurance matters within the Project Controls function.
  • Lead the adoption and use of quality assurance frameworks in project planning and delivery activities.

 

We are looking for:

  • Someone who can identify when change is necessary, clearly communicates its importance and associated risks, builds support by addressing resistance, and maintains a positive and composed approach during challenges.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on quality assurance matters within the Project Controls function.
  • Lead the adoption and use of quality assurance frameworks in project planning and delivery activities.
