About MRPV 
 
Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.  
 
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing. 
 
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough. 
 
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of systems to track data and identify evidence-based insights related to social impact, including local investment with community groups, sporting precincts, trader support initiatives and other metrics that measure benefit to the local areas.  

  • Liaise with MRPV C&E delivery teams and other internal stakeholders to identify reporting gaps and proactively implement systems for effective data collection and visualisations and other areas of improvement.   

  • Design and implement a statewide Power BI dashboard that captures community support metrics across each local government area and suburb, helping to depict how investment relates to areas with high construction impacts.   

  • Lead the rollout of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) framework to ensure accurate reporting and management of performance metrics across Road program, collaborating with delivery C&E Managers to drive contractor performance and identifying areas for improvement and avenues to communicate best practice.   

  • Contribute to evaluation reports for Social Impact, which includes using data and recipient interviews to create communication assets that promote the positive outcomes that grant funding programs, and other MPRV project initiatives have delivered to communities during construction.    

  • Contributing to transformative communications strategies using program data analysis and trend identification to raise public awareness of the social impact initiatives within MRPV and identify opportunities to promote how programs support local communities during major construction.   

  • Lead and manage reporting and communication projects and internal and external stakeholder relationships with minimal direction, demonstrating sound judgement and identifying and escalating potential risks and issues as required.   

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for implementing systems to track data to identify evidence-based insights and create communications strategies that promote the social impacts of initiatives that are delivered to communities while major construction takes place. 

This opportunity is a 3-year fixed-term.
