VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

The Opportunity

Step into a key role shaping health and safety at VIDA Health. As the Senior Advisor, Health and Safety Systems, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety management systems, helping to embed best-practice processes, training, and communications across the organisation.

Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll contribute to key safety initiatives, analyse safety performance data and support continuous improvement programs that deliver positive safety outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with strong systems experience who is looking to further develop their health and safety expertise.

Primarily office-based, the position also offers opportunities to visit construction sites and gain hands-on exposure to site safety operations. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!

Key aspects of the role include:

• Supporting the ongoing development, review, and enhancement of VIDA Health’s health and safety management systems, procedures, and processes to ensure best-practice safety outcomes.
• Collaborating with the Project Safety team to prepare safety analytics, reports, insights, guidance materials and implementation plans that drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting the ongoing management and improvement of safety systems, databases, intranet and SharePoint sites, providing expert advice and user support as required.

We are looking for:

• Experience supporting the delivery of projects, programs, audits and key initiatives while building effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, build cooperation, and provide effective guidance and support.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining management systems, including document control, records management, training compliance and continuous improvement activities.
• Qualifications in OHS (desirable) and a current drivers license (mandatory)
