VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.  

 

The Opportunity 

 

Join our Strategy & Insights team as a Senior Advisor and help shape the future of Victoria’s multibilliondollar health infrastructure program. You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisionmaking across highpriority initiatives. We’re looking for a sharp strategic thinker with strong dataanalysis skills, excellent visual and written communication, and the ability to work closely with technical experts. You’ll translate information into practical policy and strategy advice for senior executives and Government. 

 

Key aspects of the role include: 

  • Produce robust, fitforpurpose insights and strategic advice to inform complex policy decisions across VIDA Health. 

  • Lead strategy and reform initiatives aligned to VIDA Health’s priorities, managing project scoping, planning and delivery at pace. 

  • Assess emerging strategic issues and offer constructive advice on risks and trends. Prepare or contribute to comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, and cabinet or agency submissions. 

 

We are looking for:  

  • Experience developing strategy or policy advice grounded in strong data and financial analysis, with an understanding of Government priorities, complex systems and stakeholder needs. 

  • Ability to produce concise, impactful visual and written communication, drawing on data and insights to clarify complex issues and make technical content accessible. 

  • Skilled at generating innovative solutions to tricky problems by leveraging global bestpractice and crossteam insights to codesign practical, highimpact outcomes.
