VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity

 

Partner with Executive Leaders as a trusted advisor on all people matters, building strong relationships across your assigned client group. Provide expert guidance to support informed decision-making, lead proactive people initiatives, and effectively navigate complex workforce challenges. With a focus on early intervention and resolution, ensure practices remain compliant by staying up to date with employment legislation and driving best-practice people solutions.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Coach and advise senior leaders across key people areas, including workplace relations, workforce planning, performance, remuneration, and organisational development.
  • Proactively partner with leaders to address P&C issues through early intervention and local resolution. Assess workplace concerns, influence outcomes, and ensure actions align with legislation, the VPS Enterprise Agreement, and VIDA/DTP policies.
  • Use data and analytics to support evidence-based business cases and discussions with Executive and senior leaders to drive the People and Capability Roadmap.

 

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience providing expert advice to executives across key HR areas, including workforce planning, workplace relations, remuneration, performance, and injury management.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with diverse client groups to deliver end-to-end people solutions.
  • Strong track record in coaching and developing P&C practitioners, building technical and behavioural capability to support career growth and progression.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, is required.
