Title: Senior Advisor, Procurement Systems and Process
VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation. The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.
About this Opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Procurement Systems and Process plays a key role in improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of VIDA’s procurement function. This role is responsible for analysing, maintaining and enhancing procurement systems, workflows, and reporting capabilities to support strategic sourcing, data integrity, and alignment with Victoria Government procurement policies and frameworks.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, the Senior Advisor, Procurement Systems and Process ensures systems are fit-for-purpose, user-friendly, and support consistent application of procurement practices across VIDA. The role also provides training, guidance, and technical support to staff, promoting capability uplift, process consistency, and continuous improvement in procurement operations.
This role is required for a twelve (12) month period as it is a Parental Leave backfill role.
