Title: Senior Advisor, Program Safety System
VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation. The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.
About this Opportunity
This role contributes to the effective delivery and continuous improvement of health and safety initiatives across the organisation. It undertakes complex data analysis, reporting, develops guidance materials and maintains safety content systems.
At a strategic level, the role coordinates the ongoing development and maintenance of the VIDA Health and Safety Management System, oversees safety reporting, supports continuous improvement projects and the organisation’s crisis management plan.
This position also provides authoritative advice and practical solutions to senior stakeholders to support effective health and safety strategies, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and fosters a positive and proactive workplace safety culture.
