About MRPV 
 
Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.  We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.  
 
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing. 
 
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough. 
 
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: 

• Provide authoritative expert advice to senior executives and stakeholders on complex issues within quality that may impact package delivery including identifying and resolving new and emerging issues. 

• Implement the endorsed strategic quality policy, plans and procedures within the project / package including reviewing quality assurance and control documentation and records for conformance with requirements. 

• Initiates and manages negotiations with peers (internal and external) including project team members, contractors, asset owner/operators to gain commitment to delivery of contract package quality requirements to meet standards. 

• Lead package specific quality audits on behalf of the MRPV and represent MRPV in internal audits and contractors in accordance with the contractual requirements to manage compliance. 

• Manage the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of defects, non-conformances and Quality Performance Indicators, in accordance with overall MRPV and package specific commercial and contractual reporting requirements. 

• Assists the completions team in timely and effective handover of the project / package in accordance with the contractual requirements working with internal and external stakeholders. 

As the Senior Advisor, Quality reporting into a Delivery package manager in a matrix model, the role will be responsible for leading the quality management of the assigned MRPV Project Package/s to ensure that the quality assurance and control requirements in delivering the package are in accordance with contractual documents.  

This opportunity is a 3 year fixed-term.
