About VIDA ROADS

VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.  We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day. 
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

Provide authoritative expert advice to senior executives and stakeholders on complex issues within quality that may impact project delivery including identifying and resolving new and emerging issues.
Implement the endorsed strategic quality policy, plans and procedures within the projects by reviewing quality assurance and control documentation and records for conformance with requirements, site visits, collaboration with stakeholders, recording quality data in designated registers, preparing reports, data analytics, mentoring and guiding contractors and delivery team members.


Initiates and manages negotiations with peers (internal and external) including project team members, contractors, asset owner/operators to gain commitment to delivery of contract quality requirements to meet standards.
Lead project specific quality audits on behalf of VIDA Roads and represent VIDA Roads Quality in internal audits by contractors in accordance with the contractual requirements to manage compliance.
Manage the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of defects, non-conformances and Quality Performance Indicators, in accordance with overall project specific commercial and contractual reporting requirements.
Assist the completions team in timely and effective handover of the projects in accordance with the contractual requirements working with internal and external stakeholders.

About You 

The Senior Advisor Quality is a matrixed position reporting to the Manager, Quality and will lead the quality management of the assigned Projects to ensure that the quality assurance and control requirements in delivering the projects are in accordance with contractual requirements. 


The role will be responsible for effective implementation of quality management plans and processes to meet project quality requirements, achieve objectives and ensure that the Quality Assurance and Control requirements in delivering the projects are met by establishing best practice processes, monitoring their implementation tracked through quality performance indicators, defects and non-conformances. The Senior Advisor Quality will also assist the completion team for an efficient and effective handover of the projects as per contract requirements.


This opportunity is 3 years fixed term, It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
