About VIDA Health
VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Quality & Assurance drives quality across VIDA Health’s capital works program, focusing on embedding and improving the new Quality Management Framework (QMF). The role provides expert advice on quality risks and improvement opportunities, and partners with project, commercial, and technical teams to ensure consistent, compliant QA practices. It calls for strong construction QA expertise, sharp analysis, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced project environment.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Support alignment of VIDA Health’s PMF by strengthening compliance, assurance, and continuous improvement across capital projects, escalating key quality or compliance risks when needed.
- Boost QA performance by identifying systemic issues and risks, turning insights into practical improvements, and driving teams to adopt stronger QA practices.
- Provide independent QA oversight across construction and project delivery, ensuring the QMF is embedded at every stage and advising leaders on key risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
We are looking for:
- Ability to use PPM systems, SharePoint and Power BI to monitor cost, schedule and quality, while building and refining quality processes, reporting and assurance tools that drive continuous improvement and support strong leadership decisions.
- Expertise in interpreting complex data, spotting systemic issues and driving evidence‑based quality improvements from insight to outcome.
- Experienced in leading quality improvements, championing change, and embedding lessons that strengthen project delivery and organisational outcomes.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure or similarly complex environments; ideally within a PMO or Project Controls function is highly valued.
