VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.  We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Big Build Roads are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

• Managing and assisting in the delivery of transaction management services for infrastructure projects
• Managing and assisting in the delivery of commercial, contractual and financial management of infrastructure contracts
• Proactively engaging with stakeholders and relevant business units to obtain information, gain clarification or seek endorsement for transaction management and commercial or contract related matters.
• Deploying industry knowledge and advisory skills when developing, improving, implementing and refining procedures for transaction and contract management to provide a consistent and sound basis for VIDA Roads. This includes providing recommendations regarding process enhance efficiency and which contribute to the broader strategic objectives of VIDA Roads.
• People management responsibilities may be required, depending on operational needs

Reporting to the Transaction Manager, the Senior Advisor, Transaction and Contracts will be responsible for overseeing and providing support on the transaction management, commercial, contractual and financial management of infrastructure projects within the Big Build Roads program.

The Senior Advisor, Transaction and Contracts will support in the delivery of construction procurements, including via VIDA Roads Program Delivery Approach, which utilises a panel approach and includes a number of contract types and procurement strategies.

About You

• Bachelor (or higher) qualification in Engineering, Law, Business, Management or a related field is highly regarded.
• It will be a requirement to travel to Project Office(s) when required.

This opportunity is a 3 year fixed-term.
