About VIDA ROADS 

VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.  We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.  

 

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough. 

 

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: 

  • Manage and assist in the delivery of transaction management services for infrastructure projects, including but not limited to: 

  1. Supporting with the Contractor and Designer panel management;  

  1. The transaction process of the panel refresh and application processes; 

  1. Procurement and packaging strategies, including developing key components;  

  1. Preparation of tender and Development Phase documentation, tender and delivery phase offer evaluation, contract negotiation and award of construction contracts and assist in obtaining all necessary approvals within VIDA Roads and broader levels of Government; and  

  1. The continued set up and use of the virtual data room platform. 

 

  • Manage and assist in the delivery of commercial, contractual and financial management of infrastructure contracts, including but not limited to:  

  1. Ensuring compliance with the contract and maintaining records to minimize commercial risks;  

  1. Reviewing and preparing assessments of monthly payment claims and adjustment events / variations from contractors, ensuring appropriate support detail is provided; 

  1. Identifying and escalating potential commercial risk exposures / opportunities and support the resolution of commercial actions in a timely manner;  

  1. Developing documentation and briefs for internal and government approvals on commercial and contract management matters;  

  1. Preparing detailed analysis, advice and support on commercial and politically sensitive issues for senior management, ensuring all financial, contractual and legislative obligations and frameworks are being met; and  

  1. Preparing commercial components of procurement related documentation. 

 

Reporting to the Transaction Manager, the Senior Advisor, Transaction and Contracts will be responsible for overseeing and providing support on the transaction management, commercial, contractual and financial management of infrastructure projects within the Big Build Roads program. 

 

This opportunity is a 2 Year Fixed Term Position
