Title: Senior Analyst, People Systems & Data Analytics

About the role
Our People Systems and Analytics team are looking for a Senior Analyst, People Systems and Data Analytics with particular skills in data modelling and visualisation to join their small but busy team. We are looking for someone who has a moderate understanding of, or experience in, organizational design and knowledge of the how Human Resource functions support organisations.
As the Senior Analyst, People Systems and Data Analytics, you will be a specialised individual with a knack for all things Microsoft Suite, including but not limited to Power BI, Excel and have experience navigating HRIS systems.
On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself:
- Supporting the management of our organisations people data, working to ensure accuracy and credibility in the team’s analytics products used by the teams customers.
- Developing and iterating analytics tools to support both People & Culture and the broader LXRP functions.
- Supporting internal People & Culture teams with information and data requests, as required.
- Liaising with the teams customers to translate their needs into data requirements and develop solutions that support them in achieving their outcomes
This is a three (3) year fixed term position, paying a salary between $113,022 and $136,747 plus superannuation with hybrid working arrangement (a mix of office and home/remote based working). The team’s anchor day in the office is Wednesday and you will be required to work up to 3 days in the office each week, depending on what is required week to week.
The office you will be working from is in Melbourne CBD and you will also have the option to access flexible working arrangements if you need them – many LXRP employees work flexibly.

About you
You are someone that thrives on building trusting relationships with others and enjoys working with data. You might be working in the data or the HR space and looking to combine the two, or you may have transferrable skills that you think we should know about.
Let’s get technical – what skills do we expect you to have?
- A demonstrated ability of Microsoft Suite (including apps such as Power BI, Excel, Powerpoint, along with a willingness to learn and expand on the skills you already have in this space.
- Experience with HRIS systems and an understanding of how to extract data from them.
- Can autonomously develop and deploy solutions that support customer needs and outcomes.
- Has the ability to translate and break down business problems and needs into data points and requirements.
- Has a willingness to learn!
