About the role
The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting change initiatives through detailed business analysis, process improvement and solution design. The role works closely with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, assess impacts and develop practical solutions that align with organisational objectives. You will facilitate workshops, conduct research, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and prepare high-quality reports and analysis to support informed decision making.
Working in a collaborative and agile environment, you will help improve systems, processes and ways of working across the organisation. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to balance business needs, technical considerations and competing priorities to deliver effective and sustainable outcomes.
What we’re looking for (Selection Criteria)
This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes and deliver practical solutions that support business outcomes. You build effective partnerships with stakeholders and users, working collaboratively to design, test and implement solutions that meet business needs within agreed timeframes. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to present ideas clearly, influence others and manage sensitive discussions with confidence and credibility. You will also drive innovation and continuous improvement by reviewing processes, analysing information and implementing more effective ways of working. Technical expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering and solution assessment is essential to support strategic decision-making and successful project delivery.

Qualifications and experience
- Desirable – Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in information and Communications Technology.
- Desirable - Demonstrated Salesforce/CRM expertise and the ability to consult with stakeholders to capture, analyse and document business needs, translating these into understandable, traceable and implementation ready Salesforce requirements that support scalable solution design and process improvement.
- Desirable – Certification or qualification in performing business analysis and requirements definitions in an application development environment (e.g. CCAP or Certificate in Business Analysis covering Requirement Analysis) or equivalent work experience.
- Desirable – Previous experience in a similar environment including business and systems analysis in the production of system, process and project documentation including specifications, project plans, data models, process flows, and other system change supporting documentation; and understanding of database structures and experience with SQL scripting.
- Desirable – Foundation or higher-level certification in IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL).
