About the role 

The Senior Business Support Officer provides high-level executive and business support to the Executive Director and leadership team. The role manages diaries, meetings, inboxes, records and priorities, helping executives meet deadlines and deliver key outcomes. It requires strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings and documentation, managing stakeholder relationships, using business systems such as Microsoft 365, e-Briefings, Oracle and Content Manager, and improving administrative processes. The role also supports briefings, reports, approvals and divisional activities, with other duties assigned as appropriate to the position.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft 365 software including SharePoint (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively with Executives and a broad range of stakeholders (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience in using and knowledge of government business systems, processes, policies and structures (desired)
