About the role

 

The Senior Commercial Advisor helps grow and manage revenue from roadside advertising across the transport network. The role works with internal teams, government stakeholders and industry partners to identify new opportunities, bring sites to market and manage contracts. It provides commercial advice, supports policy development and monitors contract performance. Success in this role increases revenue, ensures assets are used effectively, and supports strong, compliant partnerships that deliver value for the department and the community.

Qualifications and experience

 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant commercial setting (mandatory)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, economics, business management, law, or related discipline (desirable)
  • Experience working with State or Federal Government (mandatory).

 

 

Other position-specific requirements

 

  • Experience contracting with out of home advertising service providers in public or private transport infrastructure environments
