The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
VHBA is looking for a Senior Executive Officer to provide high-level executive support, manage key relationships across government, and support the CEO’s office to ensure operations are running seamlessly. This position will coordinate critical information flows, support strategic priorities, and help deliver the full lifecycle of divisional projects and portfolio matters.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Proactively identifying and managing emerging risks and issues, providing strategic support to the CEO’s office on urgent and high priority matters and collaborate effectively by using influence to achieve divisional objectives.
- Developing and maintaining key corporate systems to track divisional outputs, monitor milestones, information sharing, and data accessibility.
- Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, briefs, and correspondence tailored to purpose and audience for both internal and external stakeholders when required.
We are looking for:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to perceive underlying needs, build strong connections, and communicate with empathy and professionalism.
- A professional with the ability to analyse information from diverse sources, distil key insights, and develop practical, effective solutions.
- Expertise and demonstrated experience in providing high-quality administrative services to executive stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
