About the Role
This position is responsible for providing a range of finance business partnering services to internal clients. The position also requires the incumbent to provide sound financial advice, guidance and support to internal clients, and implement business improvements to finance business partnering related frameworks, systems and procedures.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
- Under supervision, undertake a range of finance business partnering support activities, including budget and forecasting development, actual financial performance monitoring, analysis and reporting, and financial management of projects/programs (e.g. journals and cost allocations).
- Under direct supervision, assist in the provision of sound advice, guidance, and support to internal clients regarding budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, financial management of projects/programs and financial operations including procurement.
- Under the guidance of the Manager Finance Business Partnering, identify opportunities for continuous improvement in finance procedures that result in business improvements.
- Apply written and oral communication skills and exercise professional judgement to provide insight into finance business partnering activities undertaken for internal clients.
- Use conceptual and analytical skills to analysis and respond to financial business performance issues where defined policy and procedures may not be well-defined.
Key Selection Criteria
The DTP is seeking a motivated professional who can adapt to changing priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver effective outcomes. In this role, you will support financial operations by interpreting and analysing budgets, monitoring variances, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting while ensuring efficiency and accountability. You will also build strong stakeholder and customer relationships, contribute to continuous improvement, and apply sound business and commercial acumen to support organisational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant or a related discipline.
Desirable
- Relevant Finance or Accounting degree which includes all foundation requirements for entry into CPA Program
- Membership of CPA or CA
