About the role
The Senior Land and Property Advisor leads the assessment of significant and under-utilised government land to identify opportunities that increase public value and support government priorities. The role provides independent, whole-of-government advice and recommendations on land use options, development pathways, housing outcomes, and the future use of government land assets.
Working closely with government agencies and stakeholders, the role develops evidence-based advice, coordinates land delivery initiatives, and supports improved decision-making. It also identifies opportunities for continuous improvement through innovative assessment approaches, data analysis, and strong stakeholder engagement to maximise the value and utilisation of Victoria’s land portfolio.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in urban planning, property, environment, or a related field, and at least five years' experience in urban planning, public land management, property advisory, or development (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the development and delivery of strategic government projects and initiatives (mandatory).
- Knowledge of public land policies and procedures.
