About the role 

The Senior Manager, Registry and Cadastre Innovation leads a specialist team to set the global standard for land administration integrity in an era of automation, AI-enabled tools and digital property markets.. They provide expert advice on land administration systems and best practice to senior leaders and government stakeholders, and guide major changes to digital land systems, including the move to fully digital and 3D enabled processes.

 

They work closely with government, private service providers, industry groups such as surveyors, banks and developers and with jurisdictional counterparts to ensure land information is accurate, secure and up to date. Success means faster, more reliable land transactions, stronger confidence in property ownership, and better support for housing, infrastructure and economic growth across Victoria.

  • Drives value and smart decision-making, using commercial thinking and data to improve efficiency, manage risk, and ensure public resources are used effectively.
  • Leads innovation and continuous improvement, embedding better ways of working, setting quality standards, and encouraging new approaches to deliver better outcomes.
  • Works collaboratively and leads change, building strong partnerships across government, industry and providers, while guiding large-scale data and technology transformation.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent and demonstrate extensive senior experience delivering complex statutory, registry or regulated system outcomes in a specialist or technical domain.
  • Senior leadership experience in land registration systems, statutory decision-making support platforms and digital environments.
  • Advanced expertise in complex platforms, data-driven registration systems or complex parcel and property information management, including the use of digital plan, GIS and related technologies to support electronic examination ready and accurate registration outcomes.
  • A proven record in inter-jurisdictional collaboration standards development and policy leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards, IT systems, and emerging digital or spatial technologies.
