About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
The Senior Planner will lead the development of project schedules, provide strategic program advice, and monitor the progress of multiple projects across VHBA. While working with other project teams, this position will be a planning and project control specialists. This role ensures program accuracy, clarity, and completeness, identifies critical activities, and facilitates timely reporting of project status, delays, and associated mitigation strategies.
Key aspects of the role include:

Contribute to tender documents by advising on all program and time-related aspects.

Conduct regular reviews and check contractors’ delivery programs during the project delivery, providing the project teams with insights on status and feasibility.

Support the development and communication of mitigation strategies to help realign projects with their delivery targets and requirements.
We are looking for:

Ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and manage complex relationships within a large-scale project environment.

Experience in creating Time Chainage Diagrams, staging diagrams, Power BI dashboards, and other visual tools to complement detailed construction programs.

Extensive experience in the planning, programming and reporting on all work elements, disciplines and phases of major social infrastructure delivery
