About the Role

This is a Fixed Term Position until 14 December 2026

 

Position Accountabilities

The Senior Planner will provide senor input into the unlocking of zoned land across Melbourne’s metropolitan growth areas playing a key role in implementing the Greenfield Subdivision Concierge, an initiative from the Economic Growth Statement, Victoria’s Housing Statement and the 10-year plan for Melbourne’s greenfields.

 

The senior planner will

  •  Work with Principals to lead the assessment and evaluation of complex, sensitive applications and issues to unlock zoned land in metropolitan greenfield areas
  • Prepare and oversee the development of complex briefs and presentations to senior stakeholders.

You’ll build strong stakeholder relationships by understanding underlying needs and organisational contexts, while fostering a collaborative culture that breaks down silos and delivers shared outcomes

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in planning or a related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of the Victorian planning system
