Network, Desing and Integration is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning, and is responsible for delivering transport priorities through the planning, development and maintenance of and integrated pipelines of projects and strategic initiatives.

About the Role
Fixed term until 31 December 2026
As a Senior Policy Officer, you’ll help shape Victoria’s freight and ports agenda by developing high-quality policy, strategy and advice for government. Working within the Freight Victoria Policy and Strategy team, you’ll deliver evidence-based work that supports the sustainable, long-term operation of freight.
You’ll lead research and analysis, manage programs and contracts, draft ministerial briefs and cabinet submissions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance key freight initiatives. Your work will help inform strategic direction and influence decision-making across state government and industry.
