About the role
This role is fixed term fulltime for 6 months.
The Senior Program Manager leads the Integrated Modelling Group (IMG) to improve how Victoria’s rail network is planned and operated. They coordinate modelling work, manage priorities, and bring together experts from government and rail operators to assess projects and timetable changes. They support decision-makers with clear, evidence-based insights and ensure tools and processes are reliable and up to date. By building strong partnerships and guiding consistent practices, this role helps deliver better network performance, smarter investment decisions, and more reliable services for passengers.

Qualifications and Experience
You’ll bring:
- a relevant tertiary qualification, or proven extensive experience, in the field of project management, management, engineering, science or transport planning (mandatory)
Other Position – Specific Requirements
- May involve evening or weekend work including occasional overnight travel
- National Police Check undertaken by the department (mandatory requirement)
- You may be required to undertake a medical and other safety compliance requirement
