About the role 

Job Location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne

This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2027
The Senior Project Manager leads complex cybersecurity and ICT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to organisational goals. The role manages cross-functional teams and vendors, oversees solutions such as SD-WAN, and ensures strong performance and security standards. It also focuses on stakeholder communication, risk management, continuous improvement, and resolving technical issues effectively.

  • Leads complex planning and delivery work, balancing competing priorities, engaging senior stakeholders, and managing risk in a broader organisational context.
  • Builds a positive and high-performing culture through ethical leadership, strong people management, and a focus on engagement and capability development.
  • Develops strong stakeholder partnerships and business cases, using financial and procurement understanding to deliver value and manage resources effectively.
  • Navigates complex and difficult conversations with confidence, while remaining adaptable, outcome-focused, and responsive to changing priorities.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Prior experience with large scale network transformation (mandatory)
  • Professional qualification in Prince2 or PMBOK Project Management Methodology (mandatory)
  • Broad experience in delivering PMO services across distributed business owned initiatives (mandatory)
  • Experience in a similar role within a large organisation or network environment. (mandatory)
  • Experience with SD-WAN technology. (Desirable)
