About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2028
The Senior Project Officer provides high-level advice and support on complex commercial, legal and contractual matters relating to development agreements between the State and private sector developers. The role works closely with the Senior Project Manager, legal advisers, government agencies and other stakeholders to manage agreements and maintain strong relationships.
Key responsibilities include administering contracts, advising senior management, resolving issues, monitoring agreements, supporting governance processes and preparing sensitive briefs, reports and correspondence for senior leaders, Ministers and Cabinet. The role requires strong commercial and contractual knowledge, excellent communication and relationship management skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Proven track record in a commensurate role (desirable)
- Experience with writing for Government and compilation of reports (desirable)
- Experience in supporting governance groups, agenda preparation, reports and minutes (desirable)
