About the Role

The Senior Project Support Officer plays a central role in supporting the Transport Standards Taskforce, helping a fast-paced, collaborative team deliver its annual program. This role suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety and adapting to changing priorities. You’ll coordinate projects, manage procurement and contracts, oversee budgets and financial reporting, and provide high-level administrative and meeting support. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful transport initiatives while developing your skills in project coordination, financial management and stakeholder engagement.

The TST funding and team structure is different to traditional projects and requires a high level of attention to detail and business acumen to support the invoicing, financial and contractual need of the Taskforce as they relate to multiple supporting parties & stakeholders. While DTP led, funding for the Taskforce is provide by DTP and stakeholders involved in the work the Taskforce is doing. The Taskforce is made up of secondments from our partners (VIDA Rail, V/Line, MTM and VicTrack) and consultants where needed.
