The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity

 

This position sits within the Project Controls unit and plays a vital role in developing and maintaining a master dataset containing key project information and performance metrics. The role requires strong experience in data governance and the preparation of executive-level reports. Proficiency in Power BI, data visualisation, and stakeholder engagement is essential, along with a solid understanding of public sector infrastructure reporting to succeed in this role.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Developing, sustaining, and refining data models to enhance efficiency in the management and upkeep of critical datasets.
  • Assisting in the coordination, preparation, and timely submission of both internal and external reports in alignment with established deadlines.
  • Driving the ongoing enhancement of data visualization, reporting templates, and analytical tools.

 

We are looking for

  • Can comfortably works with complex ideas, uses analytical thinking to solve problems, and leads continuous improvement of data visualisation.
  • The ability to create new ideas using diverse information to improve practices and influence outcomes.
  • The ability to gather relevant information, engage with stakeholders, analyse problems from multiple perspectives, proposing practical solutions.
