The Enterprise Technology division provides enterprise technologies including Corporate Systems, Enterprise IT (such as Workplace, Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cyber, and IT operations), and data platforms together with organisation-wide data. The Solution Design and Delivery Branch in Enterprise Technology Division focuses on delivering IT services and solutions that unite people, process and systems to form an integrated, high performing and efficient Department of Transport and Planning. About the Role

This position is fixed term fulltime until 30 June 2026. This role sits within Solution Design and Delivery Branch within Enterprise Technology Division. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the analysis, design, and implementation of a new Standard Opertaing Environment for DTP including changes to Identity, applications and services. You will collaborate with solution architects, operations teams, other government departments and suppliers to analyse current and target state systems and proceses including those associated with Identity Management. You will conduct analysis to determine change impacts, develop proposed transition options, and after securing approval through appropriate governance forums, implement changes through structured change management processes.

Position Outcomes /Accountabilities

- Conduct analysis and contribute to the design of supporting services required for the operation of DTP’s Modern Desktop including printing, licence management, multi factor authentication and single sign-on. 
- Collaborate with system owners, architects from other teams, government departments and suppliers for analysis, design, and implementation of the solutions including core IT services and applications. 
- Lead consolidation, remediation, packaging, testing and deployment of applications required to be deployed to DTP’s Modern Desktop and contribute to the technical assurance of solutions.
- Collaborate with the testing team to provide support for testing and ensure that the NFRs including the security NFRs are tested.

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory

• Demonstrated experience in complex technology environments delivering the outcomes indicated for this position. • Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to conduct analysis and develop solutions. • Appropriate tertiary qualification or extensive experience relevant to the capabilities of the role.
