About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
We are establishing a small team to work with the newly appointed Executive Director, Organisational Design and Leadership.
The Specialists, Organisational Transformation (2 x VPS6) will work with the ED on a range of projects across organisational design, change management, workforce planning, and leadership.
If you have a passion for change management and building people-centred workplaces, love to work with people to understand their concerns and solve tricky problems, enjoy applying systems thinking to design new approaches, and welcome a good debate to get to the best solution, this will be the perfect team for you.
Key aspects of the role include:

Critically analyse and provide constructive feedback on the transformation agenda.

Create, design, and implement organisational frameworks, operating models, systems, and processes across the transformation agenda.

Draft a range of materials and products to support the transformation agenda.

Work closely with every division to understand their needs and build buy-in for change.
We are looking for:
-
Someone who has a passion for change management, with curiosity, creativity and resilience to overcome challenges and design solutions that improve organisational outcomes.

Experience working with complex problems, understanding stakeholder needs, and using analytical skills to generate insights and practical solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to write in plain English.

Extensive experience building and maintaining relationships at all levels, managing disagreements diplomatically, forging partnerships across functions, and building trust through consistent actions and communication.

Broad and diverse backgrounds - HR and organisational design qualifications and experience are welcome but not required.
