About the Role
This is a Fixed Term role until 12 September 2027
Job Location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne CBD
The Strategic Advisor supports the Executive Director and senior leaders by providing clear advice, analysis and recommendations on strategic priorities and complex issues. They research and prepare briefings, reports, policies and presentations, while ensuring key actions are followed through to completion. The role builds strong relationships with executives, Ministerial offices and government stakeholders to support coordinated delivery of priorities. They also oversee corporate activities such as risk, planning, finance, governance and compliance, and lead improvements to systems and processes. Success will help senior leaders make informed decisions, strengthen governance and deliver the Division’s priorities effectively.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or extensive experience in a similar role. (Desirable)
