About the role 

 

Please note: 2 x Fixed Term Positions until 30 June 2027

 

This role provides project assurance for road and bridge construction works, ensuring projects meet scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements. The position monitors construction progress, assesses contractor performance and claims, and ensures works comply with specifications, technical standards, legislation and relevant policies across metropolitan Melbourne.

The role also provides expert advice on construction practices, traffic management and workplace safety, including reviewing complex traffic management plans. It supports community and stakeholder engagement, delivers risk-based surveillance and audits, and promotes safe, inclusive and flexible team operations while undertaking other duties aligned with the role as required.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • A relevant qualification in civil construction, such as a Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision.
  • Experience in civil construction.
  • A current driver's licence. 

 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
