About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Complex Cases and Complaints, this role is responsible for the management and assessment of complex accreditation across a multimodal environment within the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry, Bus, Driving Instructor and Maritime sectors.
As Team Leader, Complex Permission and Case Assessment, you will be working in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple tasks and competing priorities. You will be responsible for leading a team of senior officers in the processing of complex accreditations and escalated assessments pertaining to criminal, misconduct and medical matters. The role requires formal writing skills in a legal, policy or regulatory setting, with the ability to write clear, well-reasoned decisions based on legislation and regulatory frameworks.
As Team Leader, Complex Permission and Case Assessment, you will drive the success of delivering KPI’s and quality frameworks by fostering a focused and safe work environment.

About You
The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail that is complemented by advanced policy or formal writing skills.
You will possess strong people management skills that drives high performance and outcomes in a fast-paced environment whilst managing competing priorities.
Previous experience dealing with criminal, misconduct, regulatory or disciplinary proceedings is highly desirable with the ability to write well-reasoned decisions that are fair, balanced and well considered.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in law, public policy, or a related field will be highly regarded.
