About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Architecture the role is responsible for will provide technical and design expertise for ST Vic Salesforce platforms and connected systems, facilitating the delivery of a consolidated regulatory platform that is scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
The Technical & Solution Architect will take part in discussing and defining end-to-end solution designs, oversee technical implementation, and lead the integration architecture for the Salesforce environment. The role is critical in ensuring interoperability between Salesforce and other platforms, while leveraging reusable components to accelerate delivery and optimise value. The role will provide key input to the Design Authority, working alongside other members to ensure all proposed designs and changes meet architectural principles, are technologically sound, and will meet business requirements.

About You
This ideal candidate will be someone who has strong experience as a senior Salesforce Solution and Technical Architect with experience in enterprise platforms, is confident translating business needs to technical design, experienced working within government and can work across multiple delivery, architecture and stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will be working on modernisation activities that uplift and improve our Salesforce platform and business processes and provides opportunity to shape implementation and shape updated regulatory systems. Therefore, we will be relying on your current skills and experience to support this.
This role requires advanced stakeholder engagement capabilities, and you must have a proven ability to work with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and technical specialists to provide expert advice, manage technical dependencies and support delivery of fit-for-purpose, business-aligned solutions.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and/or Application Architect pathway certifications
Desirable:
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Integration Architect
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant cloud platform, DevOps and/or AWS certifications
