About the role 

*This is a Fixed Term Position until 1 January 2027*  

 

In this role you will provide expert valuation advice and undertake complex, time-critical and sensitive valuations, particularly for compulsory acquisition purposes. You will also build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective outcomes.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

 

 

  • Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API).
  • Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, Planning and Environment Act 1987 and other relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of the government processes and land administration matters.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification
  • Driver’s License

 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions  

Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required. 

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
