About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2026
The Wayfinding Network Integration Manager is the interface between Wayfinding, the transport network and operator requirements. It provides advice and clarification of project and network requirements, governance processes, reviews and approvals. It ensures wayfinding projects integrate into the network, are compliant and provide a consistent customer experience. By driving the endorsement of standards and compliance of key DTP Wayfinding assets and requirements, it enables our external delivery partners to be better equipped to self-serve to our needs, with the Department able to move more confidently to an outsourced model for Wayfinding.
Position Accountabilities
- Participates in strategic planning and contributes to strategic decision-making processes.
- Routinely advises senior stakeholders on policy issues and solutions within this functional area.
- Provides high level expertise to initiatives in this program area.
- Briefs stakeholders in this area of expertise in a variety of forums.
- Develops service delivery models within business plans to meet objectives.

Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can guide the integration of wayfinding within major capital projects, ensuring seamless alignment across complex interfaces. You’ll bring sharp critical-thinking skills to analyse challenges from multiple angles, anticipate recurring issues, and embed solutions that drive real business outcomes. With strong influence and persuasion capability, you build support behind the scenes, draw on expert insights, and secure buy-in for key recommendations. Your communication skills set you apart—you craft clear, compelling messages and provide high-level advice tailored to diverse audiences. With a strong customer focus, you understand stakeholder needs and shape services that deliver value while managing risks to service delivery. Highly adaptable, you’re confident to pivot when strategies need recalibrating, championing new approaches and inspiring others to embrace change.
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, including to executive audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and guide the development of requirements for infrastructure projects requiring Wayfinding

Ordinary hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 7:00pm
