About the role 

This is a Fixed Term Position for  12 months  

The ITS Technical Project Specialist leads the delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and ICT projects, working within a team responsible for secure, reliable backend infrastructure. The role manages multiple priorities and requires a proactive, accountable and adaptable approach to project delivery.

The role applies specialist technical expertise to design and integrate ICT/ITS solutions, analyse requirements, solve complex problems and provide technical advice. It works closely with business users, internal teams and external providers to deliver projects within scope, timelines and budget, including business cases, approvals, contracts and financial management. The role also promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Applies strong technical capability, managing complex operational issues, guiding others and building capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in ICT (mandatory)
• At least 5+ year experience relevant to the capabilities of the role. (mandatory) 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
