Network Operations is a Division within Transport Services Group and is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of Victoria’s Transport Network. The division continuously strives for better transport outcomes for all Victorians, every day.


About the role

The Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the core tasks in the DTP Transport Operations Centre. 


The Operations Lead role will support two Managers, each with a complement of team members from the Traffic Controller and Customer Response Officer team reporting to them and will work closely with other colleagues in the Transport Operations Centre and our on road patrol staff to enable delivery of smoother and more predictable outcomes on the road network. 

This diverse position will see you juggling multiple issues at once, supporting the operational team, managing office administration and liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience
Mandatory

  • Experience working in an operational customer service environment 
    Desirable  
  • Understanding of, and experience working with transport operators including Public Transport and Roads.
