About the role
This is an ONGOING fulltime role.
The Principal Identity and Data Sharing Advisor will provide a clear, practical advice on identity, credential and data management ensuring strategies and projects meet legal and regulatory requirements. The role leads identity and data projects, working closely with government agencies and delivery partners, including the VicRoads Joint Venture. It supports teams by sharing expertise on handling sensitive information and building capability as practices evolve. Success in this role strengthens data privacy and security, enables safe and effective data sharing, and helps the department deliver trusted, well-governed services to the community.

Qualifications and Experience
You’ll bring:
– A tertiary qualification in law, data management or information security
– Experience working as a privacy professional or providing privacy advice in a professional context
– Experience working with data sharing arrangements
– Experience supporting technical projects in a fast-paced environment
– Awareness of the complex issues raised by novel data technologies, including AI and big data technologies
