Barwon South West Grampians is a Division within Transport Services, and is responsible for the statewide portfolio of road maintenance, delivered by the team in Maintenance Operations.

About the Role
The Road Delivery Officer is to support the team in the delivery of road maintenance (routine, resurface and rehab) work packages, including the assessment of pavement and drainage conditions, and assist with the preparation of high quality project approvals in accordance with corporate guidelines under broad supervision. This role will support the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC) across the state.

- Co-ordinate projects within defined scope
- Prepare reports and briefs on issues for consideration by key stakeholders
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders to share and gather project information, while contributing to a team culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They will use professional judgment to assess pavement performance, manage pre-construction and construction phases of road maintenance, and apply quality management principles. Additionally, they will play an active role in developing technical documents that drive business improvements and support informed decision-making by stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related discipline
Desirable
- Experience with asset management or maintenance field
