About the role
This is an ONGOING fulltime position.
The Investment & Portfolio Specialist helps projects follow the right frameworks, tools, and processes to deliver the Department’s IT roadmap. They guide project teams, support leaders, and work with stakeholders across government to ensure projects align with requirements. They manage prioritisation, governance, risks, and reporting, and help teams understand and follow clear processes. By influencing managers and delivery teams, they support better decisions and coordination. Success in this role means projects are well-managed, aligned to strategy, risks are controlled, and the IT portfolio delivers real value and benefits.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience in a high value portfolio office in a large complex corporate or government environment (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in information management, technology, business, commerce or similar (desirable).
- Familiarity with auditing and performance reporting of ICT programs and projects in the Victorian Government (desirable).
- Extensive relevant experience working with benefits management and investment prioritisation frameworks (desirable).
